Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a per-diem Licensed Practical Nurse to join the team at Potosi Correctional Center in Mineral Point, Missouri. The LPN provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of RNs and medical staff, addressing physical and behavioral health needs.

Shifts are per-diem, as needed, with shift differentials. Missouri LPN license is required or able to be obtained; CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current license or ability to obtain license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the LPN scope of practice.
• Work under supervision of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff to address physical and behavioral health needs.
• Respond to a range of patient health needs in a correctional setting.
