Job summary

Twin County Regional Healthcare is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Surgical Services team. The role involves providing compassionate patient care, assisting physicians, and administering medications in the endoscopy room setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Virginia or compact state.
• Certification in Basic Life Support required within the first 30 days of employment.
• Preferred certifications include ACLS, PALS & Advanced Stroke Course.

Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse on the Surgical Services team, you will provide compassionate and supportive care to patients in our rural health community. You will assist physicians with procedures, administer nursing care and medications, and maintain working knowledge of endoscopy room procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions delegated and assigned by the registered professional nurse or licensed physician.
• Administer nursing care, medications and assist physicians with procedures and monitoring.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the endoscopy room procedures and equipment.

Qualifications

• Current VA or compact LPN license.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS & Advanced Stroke Course preferred.
