Job summary

RiverSpring Living is seeking an LPN Supervisor to lead nursing care and oversee Home Health Aides in our Riverdale, NY area. The role supports residents and families within our ALR and LHCSA services, under the RN and Director of Nursing supervision.

The ideal candidate is a NYS-licensed LPN with 1–2 years in community or adult care settings and supervisory experience. This full-time night-shift position offers a competitive hourly rate and a chance to impact daily resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current New York State LPN license.
• 1–2 years of experience in community nursing, acute care, or adult care facilities.
• Supervisory experience and medication management preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversees neighborhoods and manages Home Health Aides (HHAs) in reinforcing residents’ plan of care.
• Provide supervision and direction to Home Health Aides.
• Deliver nursing care in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
• Participate in incident reporting and follow-up actions.
• Assist with resident admissions and conduct daily stand-up meetings with HHAs.
• Completes, maintains and submits accurate clinical records and prepares oral reports.
• Assist in preparing and evaluating nursing care plans.
• Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ conditions.
• Perform nursing procedures, including medication administration and treatments.
• Manage medication for residents, including changes, new prescriptions, and refills.
• Assists Nursing management with assessments and reassessments of residents to determine health needs.
• Fosters a positive working environment, promoting teamwork and staff development.
• Addresses employee concerns and ensures that staff adhere to organizational policies.
• Ensures a safe and healthy living environment for all residents.
• Undertakes resident/family teaching for self-care and continuity of care.

RiverSpring Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Supervisor to join our dynamic team of professionals at our RiverSpring Licensed Home Care Services Agency!

The RiverSpring Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) provides comprehensive and personalized home healthcare services for older adults to maximize their independence at home. The LPN Supervisor will provide neighborhood leadership and essential nursing services to residents and their families within our Assisted Living Residence (ALR) in accordance with the agency’s policies and procedures under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and the Director of Nursing of the ALR.

The RiverSpring Living campus is set on 32 acres overlooking the Hudson River, in Riverdale, New York.RiverSpring Living provides a full range of care solutions including nursing home care, managed long term care, assisted living programs, senior housing, rehabilitation services and specialized services such as elder abuse prevention and memory care.

Key Responsibilities

Supervisory

Compensation

• $40.00 hourly
