Job summary

Soddy-Daisy Healthcare Center in Soddy-Daisy, TN is seeking an LPN/RN for full-time, night and PRN shifts. You will provide bedside care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and maintain patient records within a supportive team focused on residents’ well-being.

The facility offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus, quarterly raises up to 5.5%, shift differentials, tuition reimbursement, health benefits, a 401(k) plan, and daily pay options, with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in the state.
• One year in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to patients, including personal hygiene maintenance.
• Record vital signs (BP, pulse, respiration).
• Administer oral medications and injections.
• Perform wound care and dressing changes.
• Maintain accurate charting and patient records.
• Communicate with RNs, physicians, and patients.
• Support residents with daily living activities.

LPN/RN responsibilities:

• Provide bedside care to patients including personal hygiene maintenance

• Record the patients’ vital signs (including blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate)

• Collect patient’s health information

• Relay information between patients, registered nurses, and physicians

• Give oral medications and injections to patients

• Test a patient’s blood sugar levels

• Urinary catheter insertion and care

• Wound care and dressing change

• Assist patients with personal hygiene

• Monitor for changes in patients

• Proper charting, documentation, and maintenance of patients’ medical records

• Asks questions when in doubt for clarification by the Registered Nurse.

• Acts as a role model for ancillary personnel.

• Maintains the confidentiality of the patient’s clinical records.

LPN/RN Qualifications:

• Current LPN or RN license in the state

• One year in long-term care preferred
