Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients under physician direction. You will observe, assess, and document patients’ medical status during the course of treatment.

Responsibilities include administering medications, documenting effects, and performing back office duties. You may rotate to telephone triage nursing as required, all in adherence with Practice policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing or Nursing Vocational/Technical program.
• Current NYS license to practice as a Practical Nurse.

Job Qualification

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing or of a Nursing Vocational or Nursing Technical school required.
• Current License to practice as a Practical Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
