Sayville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team in a refreshed skilled nursing environment.

The position offers a competitive hourly salary of up to $42 and involves caring for residents across our skilled and long-term units, with opportunities to educate families and collaborate with the care team. Interviews with our Administrator and DON are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in New York.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Ability to supervise CNAs and coordinate with care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for residents of the Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit.
• Medication administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcomes.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
• Supervising CNAs.
