Qualifications

• LPN Diploma from an accredited program required (new grads within 90 days).
• Certification: CPR/BLS within 30 days of hire.
• FA (First Aid) within 30 days of hire.
• LPN license in the state of VA or compact or board eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provides for the emotional, physical comfort and safety of the residents and their families.
• Assists in supervision of auxiliary personnel.
• Medications and treatments are administered accurately and according to provider's orders.
• Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.
• Assigns duties to non-professional staff such as CNAs according to education, training, policy and resident need in order to assure quality resident care is delivered.
• Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed.
• Contributes to the development, maintenance, or modifications to the individual service plans.
• Identifies changes in condition with proper documentation according to nursing practice standards.
• Demonstrates consistent follow through for positive resident outcomes.
• Utilizes good judgment and specialized skills.

Patriots Colony is hiring Full Time LPNs and offering a sign on bonus of $4,000! Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager or Nursing Supervisor, and ultimately responsible to the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Quality Care Management.
