Job summary

Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls seeks a skilled LPN or Paramedic to join its Emergency Department. You will provide urgent medical treatment under physician supervision, support patient assessments, and document care while working across Main ED, ED East and ED West.

The role features 12-hour shifts across day, evening and night, with every other weekend/holiday; on-call occasionally after training. Competitive wages reflect experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed EMT and Paramedic with active NREMT certification.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate within ED.
• Proficient in EMS assessment and patient care planning.

Responsibilities

• Collects patient health data and charts observations for physicians.
• Analyzes data to support diagnosis and care planning.
• Develops and implements care plans to achieve outcomes.
• Documents care and participates in quality improvement activities.
