Maplewood Rehab and Nursing in Massachusetts is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants. The role emphasizes collaboration with the RN Shift Supervisor, residents and families to tailor care plans, and participation in ongoing education to maintain licensure.

We offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus and competitive overnight shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts LPN or RN license in good standing.
• Experience in hospital or long-term care preferred but not required.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN), you'll play a vital role in providing direct nursing care to our residents, while also supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of the RN Shift Supervisor

• Supervise nursing assistants to ensure care is delivered according to facility standards and protocols

• Maintain communication with residents, their families, and support departments to ensure care plans are tailored to meet individual needs

• Carry out assigned duties and report directly to the RN Shift Supervisor

• Participate in continuing educational programs to maintain licensure and enhance skills

Key Requirements:

• Must be a Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with an active license

• General work experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related healthcare setting is preferred but not required
