Job summary

Courtney Manor is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for midnights to provide skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation care to residents. This role offers a sign-on bonus for full-time and a smaller bonus for part-time, with starting wages at $30.40 per hour plus incentives.

You will work as part of a compassionate team, supervising CNAs and delivering safe medication interventions while supporting residents’ health needs and care plans.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in long-term care preferred.
• Current LPN licensure in Michigan.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care for guests.
• Supervise CNAs and STNAs and other team members.
• Provide safe medication-related interventions.
• Assess guest health and notify physician of changes.
• Implement orders and stabilize conditions as needed.
• Contribute to MDS/CAA assessments and care plans.

Responsibilities for LPN

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plans, coordinates, provides and manages nursing care services and health education to nursing home guests.

Supervise the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)/State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) and other team members who care for guests.

Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to guests.

Assess the health of guests and notify the physician of changes in status. Promptly implement new orders.

Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a guest’s condition and/or prevent complications.

Contribute to the guest’s assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and the development of a plan of care.

Qualifications for LPN

• 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state
• CPR certification
