Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Med Surg in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week assignment offers nights shifts with weekly pay and competitive compensation.

The role requires an LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certifications, a current BLS, and about 1 year of Med Surg experience. You will provide bedside care, monitor patients, and document in EMR/EHR systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• LPN/LVN license required.
• IV certification and BW certification required.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside patient care in Med‑Surg environment.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support care plans and patient throughput.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.

Overview:

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN.
Location: Lewiston, Maine.
Department: Med Surg.
Shifts Available: Nights.
Pay: up to $1,680 - $2,100 gross pay per week; equivalent to $40.00-$50.00 per hour.
Assignment Length: 12 weeks.

Pay Transparency

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $40.00 to $50.00.
