Job summary

Mercy invites Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who are pursuing their RN degrees to join as a part‑time LPN-to-RN Bridge Student. You will gain hands-on acute care experience, build bedside nursing skills, and learn from seasoned nursing professionals while progressing toward RN licensure.

The program supports LPN‑to‑RN or ADN/BSN pathways with flexible scheduling, education assistance for eligible employees, and opportunities to earn while you learn in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
• License: Must have a current LPN license in Missouri.
• Certifications: CPR (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Gain acute care experience while pursuing RN degree in a hospital setting.
• Support nursing team in Neuroscience, Observation Telemetry, and Medical/Surgical units.
• Learn from experienced nurses and leaders to progress toward RN licensure.
