GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents and maintain related records at our facility. This role requires delivering care in accordance with professional standards and physician orders, within facility policies and regulatory guidelines.

This is a non-exempt, full-time position with base pay $34.00–$38.00 per hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Current active LPN license in state of practice.
• Gerontological nursing experience; dementia care preferred.
• Ability to read thermometers, charts and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments to residents.
• Maintains related work records and documentation.
• Ensures residents' needs are met per standards and policies.

TheLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) administers prescribed medications and treatments to residents and maintains related work records. The LPN also ensures resident’s needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, facility policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines . Requirements

• Skills: Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner

• Years of Experience: Gerontological nursing including dementia population preferred

• Licensure: Current active LPN license in state of practice

• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods; Ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a frequent basis; Full use of hands, arms, and legs (for writing and medication administration); Ability to read thermometers, charts and testing equipment
