Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Full-time Evening Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Joliet Inpatient Treatment Center in Joliet, Illinois. The LPN provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical staff.

Requirements include an active IL LPN license or ability to obtain one, CPR certification, and ability to obtain security clearance. Centurion offers comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation for this full-time role.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Illinois or ability to obtain one.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (drug screen and background check).

Responsibilities

• Work under direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff to address physical and behavioral health needs.
• Respond to a range of patient needs with attention to safety and security requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with treatment teams.
