Job summary

Cayuga Health seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care and support to physicians at Schuyler Hospital Primary Care in Montour Falls, NY. You will deliver high-quality patient care, assist physicians, document vital signs, and help coordinate patient visits with empathy and accuracy.

The position is onsite, weekdays 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with competitive hourly pay from $24.15 to $35.00 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
• Current NYS licensure as an LPN.
• Demonstrated clinical competency.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of diseases and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all clinical duties within the scope of LPN licensure and in compliance with applicable New York State laws, regulations, and practice protocols, ensuring patient comfort and well-being.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, prepare patient records for visits, and assist with maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
• Assist physicians and providers with patient care, clinical procedures, and scheduling in accordance with established office protocols.
• Manage patient calls and provider inquiries related to clinical questions, prescription refills, test results, and other patient care needs.
• Participate in scheduled team meetings to clarify roles, responsibilities, workflows, and patient concerns, as well as contribute to quality improvement initiatives and committees as requested.

We are in search of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with experience in delivering exceptional patient care and support to the physicians. People and communication skills are essential to the success of this role and the applicant must be able to remain flexible and work in two different locations.

Roles And Responsibilities
