Job summary

Bryant Health and Rehab is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in both short-term rehab and long-term care. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the LPN will participate in developing and implementing individualized Nursing Care Plans to meet residents' needs.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved LPN program and currently licensed as an LPN in Georgia, with preferred experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing.
• Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state.
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, develops and implements individualized Nursing Care Plans.
• Performs patient care activities and nonprofessional services to support comfort and personal needs.
• Provides basic nursing care in short-term rehab and long-term care settings.

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the incumbent Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. The Licensed Practical Nurse performs various customer care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of customers.

Requirements

• The Licensed Practical Nurse must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing
