Felician Sisters of North America in Buffalo, NY seeks a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an afternoon full-time shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) to provide resident-focused care for elder Franciscan sisters.

• We are hiring a dedicated, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters in a convent home for Franciscan sisters in Buffalo (Pine Ridge and Doat Street, Cheektowaga area, near Villa Maria College campus)
• Full-time nurse position on the afternoon shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm).
  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday
  • Week 2: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

• The salary rate is $25.92 - 36.14 per hour for LPNs **Wage will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's relevant work experience/qualifications, and internal equity.**

Responsibilities

• Our nurses (RNs and LPNs) are responsible and accountable for the direct patient-centered care of elder Franciscan sisters.
• The nurses manage multiple priorities and assist in overseeing Nurse Aides to ensure that the sisters are receiving the highest quality of care and support. The nurses assist other nursing staff with a variety of resident care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the resident.
• Distributes medication, maintains narcotic records, and resident records, and performs charting duties.

Education and Experience

• Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state where the convent home is located.
• Current license in good standing.
