Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join Idaho State Correctional Center in Kuna, ID. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care within scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under Registered Nurses and medical staff to respond to physical and mental health needs.

This 36-hour weekly night shift offers a $30–$37.50/hour pay range with benefits including health/dental/vision, 401(k), generous PTO, holidays, FSA, CE benefits, and more.

Qualifications

• Idaho Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to physical and mental health needs.
• Manage the main medical clinic.

The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs. This person will also be responsible for the management of the main medical clinic.
