As an LPN, you will provide holistic nursing care within the scope of practice, under the direction of RNs and medical staff, addressing the health needs of incarcerated patients in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Idaho LPN license or ability to obtain one required.
• CPR certification required.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, background checks required.

Responsibilities

The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.
