The role involves administering medications, documenting effects, and performing thorough patient assessments across the treatment course, including back-office tasks and telephone triage duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing, vocational, or technical program.
• Current NYS Practical Nurse license; additional certifications as needed.

Responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in support of, and as directed by, the physician. Observes, conducts, and documents a thorough assessment of patient's medical status during entire course of treatment.

Job Responsibility

• Responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in support of, and as directed by, the physician.
• Administer medications and document therapeutic effects.
• Observes, conducts, and documents a thorough assessment of patient's medical status during entire course of treatment.
• Responsible for performing assigned back office duties and rotating as a telephone triage nurse in an efficient and professional manner.
• Performs all duties in accordance with Practice policies and procedures.

Job Qualification

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing or of a Nursing Vocational or Nursing Technical school required.
• Current License to practice as a Practical Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
