The Village of Westerville is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time position. The role involves overseeing medication distribution, creating personalized care plans, and fostering communication among healthcare providers.

Position Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $26.40 - $28.80 hourly
Job Shift: 2nd shift - 12 hours

Responsibilities

• Oversees medication distribution as stated on physician orders, ensuring strict adherence to Community medication management documentation and procedure, and demonstrating steadfast dedication to resident safety
• Upon thorough assessment, creates personalized service plans tailored to individual care needs while championing resident independence and dignity
• Cultivates communication between physicians, healthcare providers, and family, fostering an effective exchange of communication pertaining to the physical, mental, and social well-being of our residents
• Contributes toward quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
• Engages in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experience

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Current CPR certification
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
