Job summary

General Physician, P.C. in Depew, NY is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time, non-benefited, onsite role. Shift is First Shift with hours 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a pay range of $23.29 to $32.03 per hour.

New graduates are welcome. LPN license in NY required; CPR, ICD-10/CPT knowledge preferred. Responsibilities include nursing care, patient prep, charting, injections, specimen collection, and care coordination to prevent readmissions.

Qualifications

• New York State LPN license in good standing required, new graduates will also be considered.
• Proven work experience in a healthcare facility is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT Codes, CPR Certification, and strong clinical skills preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations, including preliminary physical tests and interviews.
• Handle chart preparation and point-of-care testing.
• Administer medications and injections, and collect lab specimens.
• Complete prior authorizations for diagnostic testing and medications.
• Ensure proper follow-up and communication to avoid unnecessary hospital readmissions.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
• Manage clinical supplies, stock, and exam rooms.
• Assist in office treatments and examinations.
• Deliver top-notch customer service for a positive patient experience.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
