Job summary

Springbrook in Westbrook, ME is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for all shifts to join a structured, team-based care setting in a long-term care facility. Under RN supervision, you will deliver efficient nursing care and support recovery while ensuring positive patient/family satisfaction across short-term rehab and long-term residents.

You will administer medications, participate in care planning, monitor residents, and supervise unlicensed staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing as an LPN.
• BLS/CPR certification required if applicable.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Practical Nurse delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.

As an LPN at Springbrook, you’ll provide high-quality care to both short-term rehabilitation patients and long-term residents in a structured, team-oriented environment. This role offers the opportunity to utilize your clinical skills, support recovery, and maintain consistency in care, all while working closely with RNs and an interdisciplinary team.

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Base Pay: $31.00-$36.50 PLUS Shift Differential up to $8.50/hour depending on shift!

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
