Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) for private duty in-home care across our patient population in the United States. We offer health, dental, vision, and company-paid life insurance, plus paid time off and flexible scheduling across full-time, part-time and PRN roles.

In this role, you will provide compassionate in-home nursing care, document care electronically on a tablet, and work with a care team to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification (hands-on component).
• TB skin test within last 12 months.
• Six months of hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver private duty nursing care to patients in home settings.
• Document care electronically using the tablet provided at each patient home.
• Collaborate with a local clinical team to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Offer flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time or PRN) including days, nights, and weekends.

  • Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 30 days
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)- Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
