Westminster St. Augustine is hiring a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Health Center, 3pm–11pm. The LPN will provide direct nursing care, supervise nursing assistants, and ensure compliance with physician orders, medication passes, and ECS documentation.
The role requires Florida LPN licensure and CPR certification, with preferred LTC experience. The position includes opportunities like EAP, scholarship programs, and health vaccinations, within a supportive Westminster Family
Located in the heart of World Golf Village, Westminster St. Augustine, a Life Care Retirement Community, is currently accepting applications for the position of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) part-time, 3pm - 11pm in our Health Center. As a part of the Nursing Team, this individual will provide direct nursing care to residents as well as supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants and staff nurses in accordance with state and federal standards. As part of the Westminster Family, this position is vital in supporting our Nursing Team.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Must be currently licensed in the State of Florida as a License Practical Nurse. Must be CPR Certified.
Experience and Basic Knowledge: One year of long-term care is desirable. Med-surg, Home Health experience helpful. In addition, experience working with the handicapped or developmentally disabled adults preferred.
Physical and Environmental Requirements. The physical activities of this positioninvolve:Fingering, lifting up to 40 lbs., standing, grasping, pushing, stooping, kneeling, reaching
Sensory and communicative activities with or without prosthetics of this position are:Feeling, smelling, hearing, speaking, seeing, tasting
An individual in this position will be exposed to:Inside environmental conditions, blood borne pathogens, physical hazards using equipment, respiratory hazards
Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of this position.
