Red Bank Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Red Bank, NJ is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Earn competitive wages with benefits and a supportive team in a resident-centered care setting.

Available shifts are 7-3p or 3-11p. LPN responsibilities include admissions, discharges, medication administration, infection control, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality resident care in compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• LPN license valid in the state
• CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Admissions, Discharge and Transfers of residents
• Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians
• Medication administration
• Following infection control, emergencies, and other center policies
• Collaborating with resident’s interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes
• Identifying and reporting all abnormal changes in residents’ condition to proper personnel per center policy
• Works under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and nursing judgment
• Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care
• Collects patient/resident data, makes observations, and reports pertinent information related to the care of the patient/resident
• According to state-specific regulations, implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response
• In accordance with state-specific regulations, directs and supervises care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations
• Maintains knowledge of necessary documentation requirements
• Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use, i.e., monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality and patient/resident rights, regarding all patient/resident/ personnel information.
