Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care under RN direction in a long-term care setting. You will evaluate residents, assist with assessments and care planning, administer medications, and supervise unlicensed staff to ensure safe, effective care.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an approved practical nursing program with an active LPN license or pending licensure and BLS/CPR certification as required by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Current license by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• BLS/CPR certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Practical Nurse delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
