Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking an LPN to join our team in Pennsylvania. You will partner with the Nursing Supervisor and Executive Director to create and sustain a therapeutic environment for residents, administering medications and supporting recovery efforts.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state
  • Comfortable working independently with residents
  • Compliance with MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) protocols

Responsibilities

  • Administer/dispense medication under physician direction
  • Ensure adherence to the physician or Medical Director's treatment plan
  • Perform Mantoux testing and interpret results
  • Conduct blood draws
  • Assist in training staff on healthcare and safety matters; maintain medical equipment
  • Provide staff development training in CPR, First Aid, and blood pressure
  • Educate clients about methadone maintenance, detoxification, and lab results
  • Advise pregnant patients on prenatal care and coordinate external services as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

As an LPN, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery. You will partner with the Nursing Supervisor and Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse in the state seeking employment
  • Comfortable working independently with the population when needed
  • Compliance with MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) program protocols

Responsibilities:

  • Administer/dispense medication under direction of physician
  • Ensure the treatment plan of the physician or Medical Director is being followed
  • Giving and interpreting Mantoux Testing
  • Complete blood draws
  • Assists in training staff in medical and health and safety matters as well as assisting in properly maintaining medical equipment.
  • Provide training for staff development specific to health care needs i.e., CPR, First Aid, Blood Pressure.
  • Educates clients about methadone maintenance and detoxification as well as side effects and provides education to clients on lab results and all medical matters.
  • Educates pregnant patients about prenatal care and assists primary counselor in coordinating outside services as needed.
  • Other duties as needed.
