Job summary

Genesis Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate nursing care under RN supervision. You will evaluate residents, participate in care planning, and administer medications according to physician orders.

The role includes supervising unlicensed staff, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with BLS/CPR guidelines across a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition, and report changes.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
