Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking part-time LPNs for flexible, 8-hour shifts in Kentucky. Positions include 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, and 6:00 PM–6:00 AM options with new rates effective July 2025. Retention bonuses are available for full-time RN/LPN/CNA roles.

Under RN supervision, LPNs provide nursing care, assess residents, administer medications, and help plan individualized care. Competitive benefits and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for practical nursing (LPN).
• Current LPN licensure in the state or pending licensure.
• Maintain BLS/CPR certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient nursing care under RN supervision.
• Evaluate residents, observe changes, and report findings.
• Contribute to assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications per physician orders and supervise unlicensed staff.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Practical Nurse delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.


• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.


• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.


• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.


• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.


• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.


• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
