Job summary

Markley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an LPN for full-time/part-time night shifts (11pm-7am) in Norristown, PA. The facility emphasizes compassionate, high-quality nursing care within a 121-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care setting.

Qualified candidates hold an active PA LPN license with BLS/CPR, and are able to manage multiple residents while following care plans and documentation standards. Daily Pay and competitive shift differentials are offered.

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license in Pennsylvania.
• Valid BLS CPR certification.
• Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care per standards, care plans, and physician orders.
• Follow individualized care plans developed with the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments per POC and facility policy.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation per orders and regulatory standards.
• Support a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment for residents and families.

Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Provide patient care in accordance with accepted standards of nursing practice, the written plan of care, and the physician’s plan of treatment.
• Follow and implement individualized care plans developed by the Nurse Manager and interdisciplinary team.
• Perform medication administration and prescribed treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC) and facility policies.
• Monitor residents’ conditions, report changes promptly to the supervising nurse or physician, and respond appropriately to clinical needs.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and regulatory standards.
• Support a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment for residents and their families.

Qualifications for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Current, unencumbered active LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to care for and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail.
