Job summary

Beverly Farm Foundation in Godfrey, IL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide medication administration and direct resident care, ensuring safety and dignity for adults with developmental disabilities.

You will maintain accurate resident charts, coordinate treatments, attend IDT meetings, perform routine nursing duties, and respond to emergencies while promoting health and welfare through teamwork and continuous training.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with IL license is required.
• Experience with intellectually disabled preferred.
• Graduate of accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Proper administration of all medications.
• Maintain medication supply for residents.
• Ensure treatments are performed with proper procedures.
• Keep each resident's chart current.
• Ensure immunizations, records, labs, and forms are in place.
• Participate in IDT staffing and goal setting.
• Provide first aid for emergencies.
• Attend required trainings and shift-change meetings.
• Pursue ongoing improvements in residents' health and welfare.
• Perform general nursing duties as required.
• Assist other nursing team members.

Salary Range: $38.00 - $38.00 Hourly

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Proper administration of all medications.
• Responsibility for the ordering and maintaining of adequate supply of medication for each resident
• Assure all treatments are accomplished with proper procedures.
• Assure that each resident's chart is kept current.
• Assure that all immunizations, records, lab work, physical exams, consultation notes, and all required forms are in place
• Participate in IDT staffing's offering input and opinion and establishing realistic short-term and long-term goals
• Provide immediate first aid treatment to residents and employees in case of accident or injury.
• Attend necessary training and building shift change meetings as required by the supervisor/facility.
• Continuously endeavor to improve the health and welfare of each resident.
• Perform general nursing duties as required.
• Assist all other members of the nursing team.

QualificationsEducation/Experience:

Licensed Practical Nurse, graduate of accredited school of nursing, current and valid Illinois license, experience with the intellectually disabled preferred.
