Century Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Century, Florida, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time day and night shifts. The facility offers wage scales, wage differentials of $2–$3 per hour, and a broad benefits package.

Walk-in interviews are welcome weekdays 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Responsibilities include admissions, medication administration, infection control, team collaboration, and direct patient care under Nurse Practice Act guidelines.

Qualifications

• LPN license valid in state or multi-state
• CPR certification required
• Two years nursing experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Admissions, Discharge and Transfers of residents
• Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians
• Medication administration
• Following infection control, emergencies, and other center policies
• Collaborating with resident’s interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes
• Identifying and reporting all abnormal changes in residents’ condition to proper personnel per center policy
• Works under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and nursing judgment.
• Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care
• Collects patient/resident data, makes observations, and reports pertinent information
• Implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response
• Directs and supervises care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations
• Maintains knowledge of documentation requirements
• Maintains knowledge of equipment setup, maintenance and use
• Maintains confidentiality and patient/resident rights

Some of your Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities include:

• Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use, i.e., monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality and patient/resident rights, regarding all patient/resident/ personnel information.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) QUALIFICATIONS:

• LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensed by the State or Multistate License
• CPR Certification requiredTwo Years prior nursing experience preferred
