Job summary

The Vivo Healthcare Meadows in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team. We offer newest wage scale, sign-on bonuses, shift differentials, and a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, wound care, injections, collecting medical histories, and documenting in our computer system. Current FL LPN license is required; weekend and night shifts available at competitive rates.

Qualifications

• Current FL LPN license.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Ability to document patient care accurately in EMR.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Give medication as prescribed by a physician.
• Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
• Responsible for basic wound care including cleaning and bandaging injured areas.
• Give injections of medication and immunizations.
• Take medical histories.
• Enter information into computer system.
