Job summary

Ontario Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Canandaigua, NY is actively hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for a 98-bed skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and a pleasant demeanor.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus, a base rate of $29.50–$35/hour with a $0.50 shift differential for evenings and nights, and daily pay through a third-party provider. Travel reimbursement for gas and tolls is included.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as part of a team.
• Valid NY State LPN license is required.
• In good standing with State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Record health details of Residents including vitals and temperature.
• Administer medications and injections as needed.
• Treat wounds and bedsore care as required.
• May supervise CNAs.
• Assist Residents with personal hygiene and dressing.
• Monitor residents' food and liquid intake/output.

• May be required to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Helps Residents get dressed & take care of personal hygiene
• Monitors Residents’ food and liquid intake and output
