Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking an outstanding Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team. You will support clinical services including resident medication management, service planning, and supervising the nursing staff to ensure high-quality care for residents.

You will engage in regular resident assessments, care planning, and collaboration with health care teams. The role may require evenings/weekends; CPR and active LPN license are required; prior supervisory experience in

Qualifications

• Requires a current LPN nursing license and CPR certification as required by the state.
• Prefers at least 1 year of prior relevant experience.
• Prefers previous supervisory experience, preferably in senior living.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care
• Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders
• Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed
• Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications
• Providing direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or during on-call rotation
• Relaying resident concerns or changes to the appropriate department manager
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Bonus Opportunities

• Perfect attendance bonus—$75 for full-time (up to a $1,950 annual benefit) and $35 for part-time (up to a $910 annual benefit)
