Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking a Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team in Bowie, MD. This role offers a limited-time $5,000 retention bonus and opportunities to grow your nursing career.

Under RN supervision, the LPN provides nursing care, administers medications, participates in care planning, and supports unlicensed staff. Must be a graduate of an approved LPN program and licensed or eligible for Maryland licensure; CPR/BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if required in practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
