Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Family practice or clinic experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients from the waiting area and prepare them for examination.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs.
• Enter and maintain accurate patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Perform medication reconciliation.
• Conduct EKGs as needed.
• Administer injections and medications as directed.
• Return patient phone calls and assist with patient communication.
• Complete medication and radiology prior authorizations.
• Communicate lab results to patients.
• Schedule diagnostic testing and follow-up care.
• Assist providers to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our busy family practice clinic. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and works well both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Escort patients from the waiting area and prepare them for examination


• Obtain and record patient vital signs


• Enter and maintain accurate patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)


• Perform medication reconciliation


• Conduct EKGs as needed


• Administer injections and medications as directed


• Return patient phone calls and assist with patient communication

Requirements

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


• Occasional overtime may be required

• Ability to stand and remain on feet for extended periods (50% or more of the workday)
