Responsibilities
- Assess residents’ needs, develop individualized care plans, and administer nursing care in a SNF setting.
- Evaluate and supervise nursing care and oversee nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care.
- Ensure practices comply with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations; follow the Director of Nursing Services or designee directions to maintain high-quality care.
- Follow health, sanitary, and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice per the community’s administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
Education/Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN within the state in which you work.
- Must possess a current CPR certification.
- Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health record software.
