Job summary

Valley Vue Care Center in Iowa is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our friendly, caring team on a PRN basis. You will ensure residents receive medications and nursing care according to individual care plans, perform assessments, and support a high standard of resident well‑being.

As an LPN, you bring an Iowa license and clinical skills; prior experience is preferred but we will invest in the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Iowa LPN license required.
• Prior LPN experience preferred.
• PRN, as-needed shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and nursing care per care plans.
• Perform resident assessments and monitor health status.
• Act as team lead in clinical department.
• Advocate for resident safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate documentation.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN license. Prior Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN you are the backbone of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Valley Vue Care Center by ensuring residents receive the medication and nursing care they need as directed by their individual care plan, conducting resident assessments, being a team leader, and advocating for your residents. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
