Job summary

Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System in Tuskegee, AL is actively recruiting two Licensed Practical Nurse positions at the Community Living Center (New Horizon's). The role provides patient-focused nursing care and treatment to residents with diverse needs, including hygiene, turning, mobility, and basic procedures.

The LPNs will work under supervision to administer medications, monitor health status, and support interdisciplinary care teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved practical/vocational nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN licensure in the United States or DC.
• English proficiency for safe patient care and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and treatment to residents in a community living center.
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications and document interventions.
• Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and respond to changes promptly.
• Assist with ADLs, mobility, hygiene, and patient safety across shifts.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and participate in care planning.
