Job summary

Validation Associates LLC is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. This role focuses on direct patient care and collaboration with care teams to support patient outcomes.

You will monitor and document patient status, administer medications, educate families, and uphold safety and regulatory standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or LVN license in New Mexico
• Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and wound care
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in medical records
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and post-care instructions
• Perform routine clinical procedures such as catheter care, IV maintenance, and specimen collection
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to supervising nursing staff or physicians
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant care environment in accordance with regulatory standards
