Job summary

United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing in Inpatient Specialty Care under supervision in the Delivery Room at UHS Wilson Medical Center.

The Evening Rotational shift offers 32 hours per week with a compensation range of $25.27–$37.90 per hour, depending on experience. Minimum requirement is graduation from an accredited school of Practical Nursing and NYS license or permit; ICU/hospital experience preferred.

• Current New York State Practical Nurse License or Permit.
• Experience in critical care or hospital setting preferred.

Position Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Acute Care provides skilled nursing care tasks and procedures under the direction of an RN, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, physician, or other authorized health care provider in the Inpatient Specialty Care departments.

Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Delivery Room, UHS Wilson Medical Center

Primary Work Shift: Evening Rotational

Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32

Compensation Range: $25.27 - $37.90 per hour, depending on experience

Education/Experience

• Minimum Required: Graduated an accredited school of Practical Nursing
• Preferred: Experience working in critical care or hospital environment

License/Certification

• Minimum Required: Current New York State Practical Nurse License or Permit
• Preferred: Basic Skills Certifications (CPR)
