Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management seeks an LPN to provide high-quality routine care to residents under RN supervision, in line with Minnesota BON standards and the Resident’s Bill of Rights. The role involves collecting health data, monitoring status, and communicating changes to the RN.

You will also coordinate and oversee nursing tasks for unlicensed staff, ensuring clear expectations and timely escalation when needed, to support residents’ well-being.

Qualifications

• Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Current Minnesota License as a Practical Nurse.
• Current CPR certification (emergency care).
• Experience in skilled nursing and/or assisted living facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with direct routine care under supervision of the RN and in accordance with Minnesota BON standards and the Resident’s Bill of Rights.
• Collect resident health data, monitor status, and report changes to the RN.
• Assign and monitor nursing tasks for unlicensed staff, clarifying expectations and escalating when needed.
