Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC in Houma, LA seeks a Licensed Nurse to provide direct resident care and supervise residents' needs per individualized care plans, monitoring changes in condition and signs of illness per regulations. You will document changes, communicate with Health Services Director, and assist in supervising resident assistants while maintaining resident privacy, safety, and dignity.

CPR/First Aid cert and licensing required; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; familiarity with infection

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse with at least 1 year in-home health or geriatric nursing.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Maintains appropriate and required license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and supervision per individualized care plans.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and signs of illness.
• Communicate and document resident changes to Health Services Director.
• Assist in supervision of resident assistants.
• Maintain resident privacy, dignity, and a safe, clean environment.
• Administer medications/treatments per community policies.
• Document resident medical data and report changes to nursing staff.
