Job summary

Centurion Health in Valdosta, GA is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at Valdosta State Prison. You will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of RNs and medical staff.

The position offers day shifts (6am-2:30pm) and a pay rate of $30-$35 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) match, paid time off, FSA, EAP, and opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one.
• CPR certification required.

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs of incarcerated patients.

We are currently seeking a FT Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Valdosta State Prison located in Valdosta, Georgia.

Pay Rate: $30-$35

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

FT Days: 6am-2:30pm, with 12 hour shifts on the weekends
