Job summary

Avem Health Partners in Anadarko, OK is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision. You will perform assessments, administer medications, collect samples, and contribute to care plans.

$5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!!!JOB PURPOSE:Provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Any position that has direct patient care is considered to be safety sensitive by AVEM Health Partners standards.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.Responsible for fostering a positive work environment.Assesses patients’ needs based on medical history, risk factors, complaint, need for care, etc. Classifies the urgency of symptoms and notifies appropriate personnel.Collects samples from patients including blood, urine, stool, and sputum.
