Qualifications

Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the State or in training to satisfactorily complete the requirements to become a LPN.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must read and write legibly and understand English.
Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures and laws; experience in long-term care desirable.
Positive attitude toward the elderly.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with federal, state and local standards and as directed by the RN, Director of Nursing Services and Administration.
Supervise day-to-day nursing activities of Certified Nursing Assistants to maintain high-quality care.
Ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
