Job summary

Altamaha Health Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care settings. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the LPN will develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans, ensuring the needs of the customers are met.

The ideal candidate must be a graduate of an approved nursing program and be licensed in Georgia. Preference will be given to those with experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize principles of Nursing and basic physical assessment skills to develop Nursing Care Plans.
• Perform various customer care activities essential to the comfort of customers.

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the incumbent Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. The Licensed Practical Nurse performs various customer care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of customers.

Requirements:
