Job summary

West State Street is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for day or night shifts in a long-term care setting in Spencer, WV. Under the supervision of an RN, you will provide efficient nursing care, monitor residents, administer medications and ensure quality outcomes.

Must be a graduate of an approved LPN program and hold or be eligible for state licensure, with current BLS/CPR. Benefits include health/dental/vision, life insurance, 401K and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if required by state practice.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
